A little about me . . .

I am Wendy Anne, and I created Sacred and Wild as a space where truth, creativity, and healing meet.

For much of my life, I lived with invisible pain - physical, emotional, ancestral.

I spent decades ignoring, forgetting, and shielding myself from my own stories. It wasn't until my body started shouting louder than the door I had closed over everything, that I began to sit with the unknown and ask myself hard questions.

Once I began walking through the depths - uncovering and navigating chronic illness, anxiety, panic attacks, divorce, childhood wounds, the weight of a maternal legacy of shrinking memory . . . all those things that we either feel too keenly, or work too hard to not feel at all -  I slowly began finding my way back to myself.

I have known what it is to forget. To be silenced. To feel lost inside a life that no longer fits.

I have also known the sacred unraveling that leads us home. What helped me heal was connection - with creative expression, with the earth, with the deeper wisdom that lives inside all of us.  Writing taught me to speak my truth. Art reminded me that there is beauty in all you witness. Nature taught me how to listen again.

The trees reminded me of stillness.

The wind reminded me of my voice.

I began to write not to fix myself, but to find the parts that I had tucked away. I learned that healing is not a linear path - it is a spiral, a song, a soft return.

Sacred and Wild was born through those quiet hours of healing, through the early mornings when my tears met the earth, through poems whispered onto a page, through the blending of colors on canvas, and through presence as a kind of medicine.

Doing this work brought me both into myself, and outside of myself. I began connecting with like-minded and like-hearted people around me. We shared our shadows, but more importantly, we shared our light. If there is one thing I learned on this healing path, it is that we were never meant to take this journey alone. When it is shared, this healing is amplified. It is held. It is nurtured, and it is honored.

Through this work, I help others reawaken to the wild wisdom they carry within. Here we write to remember. We create to connect. We rest, breathe, speak, and come back to the truth that never left us.

If you have found your way here, perhaps you, too, are remembering. Perhaps you are returning to your body, to your truth, to the sacred pulse that lives in you.

Welcome.

I am glad you are here.
